Participants meet on Saturday mornings for 3 hours, 9:00 AM to 12 noon
for 10 weeks at Chapman University's Irvine California Campus. Between
classroom sessions students and their coach meet outside the classroom
for an additional 2 to 3 hours, at a time and place they select. In these
“team” meetings students receive feedback on assignments including
resumes, special reports, proposals for targeted companies, research
findings and take part in structured brainstorming exercises.

A long-term benefit of the course is that most teams continue to meet on
a monthly basis after the course has completed. In fact several teams have
continued to meet monthly over the last four years. In effect, they have
become long term “Boards of Advisers” for their members.

Team assignments are based on geographic location. There are usually
north, central and south Orange County teams. On occasion there have
been teams for Los Angeles and San Diego County participants. At the
beginning of the course team members and coaches decide where and
when they will meet during the week between classes. Team meetings
usually last from two to three hours.

The $395 registration fee includes a 220-page E-book course manual and
all supplemental materials. The course manual and supplemental
materials are also offered in a 2-inch 3-ring binder for $30. Throughout
the course the instructor and coaches will suggest books and articles to
go more in-depth on topics and strategies presented during the course.
